Pav-bhaji
Posted by admin in Uncategorized on January 29, 2010
We made delicious buttery “Pav-bhaji” to celebrate my promotion. Yesterday night we decided to make delicious and Mumbai’s favorite dish called Pav-Bhaji. The dish is made from butter mixed vegetables and bread dough.Though it is a very easy to make dish and can be cooked within minutes but it is very essential to use proper taste makers and spices in Bhaji(mixed vegetables) to make it perfect. When Bhaji is prepared we can cook bread dough with butter and then eat it with hot bhaji. So as usual My mother who is kinda expert in cooking, decided to make this dish specially for me, as I got promoted last week and she wants to celebrate with me, and she knew this is my all time favorite dish.We ad a great time talking and having dinner altogether after a long period of time as I share my success story with my parents and they felt proud. It was a dinner to be remembered. The moment and special dinner like this does not come in life very easily.

Orthopedic pet beds have really improved over the last several years. The quality of these beds now rivals their human equivalents. Many of the same high quality materials are used like memory foam, orthopedic foam, and heating elements.

When you buying a pet bed it is important to choose the correct size. Pet beds come in almost any size and buying a bigger size always because your pet should be able to fully stretch out on the bed without worrying about falling off it.

A Busy Day
Posted by admin in Uncategorized on January 23, 2010
My day starts with hitting the snooze button of my radio-alarm clock. Once I am completely awake, it’s time to start making breakfast and lunch for my older child. Packing him off to school is the number one priority in the early morning. After ensuring that he is all ready to go to school, I start my morning ablutions. Then, it’s the turn of my younger child to go to his school. We eat our breakfast. He watches some television and then we are off to his school. I go back home and continue with my housework – cooking lunch and dinner, cleaning, and doing laundry. Soon, it’s time to pick up my younger child from school. I pick him up and we go back home to have lunch and a nap. In a couple of hours, my older child is back from school in his school bus. The kids watch television, do their homework and play. I spend time with them either reading them books or by going to the park to play. In short, my day is spent wonderfully though it may be hectic at times.
Mex Night

My daughter was craving Mexican food, so I made a pan of spinach enchiladas. The garden was full of ripe tomatoes so I chopped some of them and added cilantro, onion and lime and a chopped avocado for a bit of a salad/salsa to go over the top of the enchiladas. I also had a bit of leftover bacon fat from breakfast so I used that to toast some rice in a pan and used fresh tomato juice to make some Spanish-style rice. To drink I made some seltzer water and added a bit of leftover lime rind and a few sprigs of mint from the garden.
Cooking Competitions!
Posted by admin in Uncategorized on January 15, 2010
We watch many cooking shows in our family. The ones we like best are where aspiring chefs compete against each other to try and be the best of the best. Our family especially likes “Hells Kitchen”. It is one of the best and most entertaining competition based cooking shows we have found. Great show to enjoy some good food and drinks from the home kegerator! Chef Ramsey usually hits it right on the head with his comments and decisions at the end of each episode. I would highly recommend it as a show for anyone with a cooking interest to watch.
My Pet Dog, the best
Posted by admin in Main Articles on January 12, 2010
Dog is a mammal considered to be the first domesticated animal. More than 14,000 years ago, they have learned to live with humans. Dog training is a vital part for raising for a happy and healthy dog. The trainer should always be consistent in praising its good behavior and correcting the bad behavior. Many trainers use dog collars & leashes, known as a choke collar used to gain and direct a dog’s attention. I try to practice these rules on my dog. I too got my cute pet dog. His name is Scooby, domestic dog. Like the original Scooby Doo, its also very funny little pet when i got the puppy one year back. I often tries to sit on him, but it wiggles and run for his life. When took the hose to water the plants, it stays a little away from me watching each time to make sure i don’t come with that near him. But of-course, he have to take bath atleast once, without which i wont let him go. I will decorate his forehead with Kungumam. It is really my best friend when i am really bored.
A Weird Whirlwind Weekend

On Friday I helped get a cousin off on the bus to the west coast, where he had an emergency. He had to get a voucher for part of the fare from Churches United, a local charitable grou. Saturday brought with it a lot of household tasks, and discussions about the cousin’s situation, and if it would be a good idea for him to return next year. No conclusion was arrived at. On Sunday I attended a Lutheran church service. A friend who is both Lutheran and Unitarian Universalist invited me to the opening fall meeting of the UU group. Afterwards we had coffee at Dunn Bros., and I spent the afternoon reading.

A Dog Day Afternoon
Posted by admin in Uncategorized on January 7, 2010
At this particular time of the school year, the flu happens to be going around. And I caught it. I spent all day trying to stay awake in classes, and usually trying to find something else to do aside from listening to the statistics lecture. After classes I went to the math lab building where I intended to apply for a job that my friend told me about, only to find out that the job was filled, and the building no longer had any openings. Frustrated, I took the application forms out of spite and headed back to my off-campus home with a friend. After stopping at a Taco Time, we had lunch. The rest of the day was very relaxing.
My Delicious Dinner
Posted by admin in Uncategorized on January 4, 2010
For dinner last night I had a very good meal. I made pot roast with potatoes, and carrots, and also had buttered crescent rolls with it, and a side salad. It was delicious. I had my mother and father over and they were impressed at how good my dinner came out. I put the oven on a pretty low heat and let the dinner cook for about two and a half hours. The meat came out so tender and juicy, I was very impressed. For desert I made homeade cheescake, topped with cherries and whipped cream. This was one of the best meals I have made in a while!
