Music

There is no one genre that defines what kind of music I am into. I love all different types, from pop to R&B, from heavy metal to new age instrumental. Ever since I was a kid, music has been an essential part of my life. I can’t leave my house without my ipod to construct a soundtrack to my day. My favourite band of all time has to be the Tragically Hip. With the change from subtle melodies to their loud rocking tunes, they have become a genre on to their own and have defined a generation of Canadian musicians.

Place of Dwelling

I currently reside in a high rise apartment building, on the 15th floor. The view is spectacular, and that’s just the icing on the cake when living in an apartment building. It’s so nice and quiet, as all the walls between apartments are solid concrete. It feels like I’m the only one in the building. It’s nice that everything in contained in one area, and there are no stairs to trudge up and down. The best part is there is a beautiful swimming pool in the complex, which I would never be able to afford or maintain if I was living in a house!

Last Place I Ate for Lunch

The last place I ate at for lunch was this little restaurant called Rocky Johnny’s diner. With its 1950’s flair and cute little booths, it was an inviting atmosphere. As I walked in, the pictures of Elvis and James Dean were so original and it gave the diner an authentic feel to it. The waitress brought me to my seat, which was a booth, and it was styled like the kind you would have seen back in the 1950’s. Their menu had all sorts of different kinds of ice cream floats and milkshakes. It was a great little place to eat.

Lost and found for your hound!

YouTube Preview Image Dogs need a collar on them if for no other reason than to attach the dog license. A lost dog can be a real heartbreaker for a family, so having tags is an important way to ensure that if a dog gets lost, it can be reunited with its owner. It’s important that dog collars and leashes fit right on the neck. Too tight and it can be painful and choke the dog, too loose and the collar can slip off the neck. If this happens, the dog could be running around with no identification and get picked up by the dog warden, and there could be dire consequences. A good rule of thumb is to be able to slide two fingers beneath the collar comfortably. This means it’s a good fit.
