I Miss the Snowstorms

We just moved down south from NY.  I have to say that when I heard about a major snowstorm across the Northeast, I felt a little bit of remorse.  My husband said that he was thankful he wasn’t there – he’s the one that had to shovel the snow in our tortuous, uphill incline driveway.  He also doesn’t like paying the heating bill that we always had to pay at this time of year.  I thought of the kids playing outside for hours at a time and then coming in for hot chocolate.  I also remember reading books as the fire was on full force in the fireplace – my husband also had to chop the wood for that.
