Stricken Sounds

My favourite kinds of movies are anything from the horror genre. I love to be afraid and freaked out, screaming in the movie theater and then laughing myself silly afterwards, disbeliefs my own silliness. The horror genre always had the best enemies, from Freddy Kruger to Michael Myers to Jason from Friday the 13th. As the years have gone on, horror movies have reached a new level of terror. They have resorted to children as the creepy essence of the movies, as with the Grudge and the Ring, which were originally Japanese horror films, or J-Horror. Then there was the documentary style horror film, like the Blair Witch Project, and more recently, Paranormal Activities. These kinds of movies chilled you straight to the bone, as the movie was based in an average setting with average people, setting the tone that this could happen to anyone. My favourite types of horror movies always have zombies in them. There is just something about zombies that I love!
