One of my favorite childhood memories

The Tooth Fairy Tats 2000

One of my favorite childhood memories, although it’s kind of stupid but it’s when I tried to trick the ‘tooth fairy.’ I loved getting money from the tooth fairy when I had lost a tooth. It’s was thrilling to wake up after a night of putting my tooth underneath my pillow and finding money!! Well at the time I was around six years old, I had absolutely no lose or wiggly teeth in my mouth. But still, I wanted to get money from the tooth fairy who I one day thought I could catch with a sticky fly trap. I had tried everything a six year old could to lose a tooth. Even the silly tie your tooth to a string and close the door. But hey, I was a pretty smart six year old. Well i had become desperate, and found one of my shark tooth necklaces I had that my aunt had given me as a souvenir from a vacation in florida. I took the shark tooth necklace and put it underneath my pillow and giggled with delight. I had thought that I could trick the tooth fairy and get money! Well after that night and I woke up the next morning I woke up to a very…entertaining surprise. There wasn’t any money, the necklace was still there, BUT there WAS a very small envelope that contained a letter inside. When I say a small envelope I mean one probably as big as the palm of your hand perhaps. Inside of the letter it was addressed to me, and who was the letter from? The tooth fairy of course. It had written inside something along the lines of ” Haha, nice try Fallon. You can’t trick me! You have to wait until you lose one of your own teeth to get money from me…etc.” In very small hand writing. I was so excited about getting a letter from the tooth fairy, that I forgot about my disappointment in not getting any money. I had lost the letter on my move to a new house but I always treasured and loved that silly little memory of mine.
